Paula's Portuguese Marinated Fries
Paula's Portuguese marinated fries recipe, are made by marinating thinly cut potatoes in a mixture of red wine, garlic powder, and red pepper.

Ingredients
4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into sticks2 levelled tablespoons of Portuguese ground red pepper sauce (pimenta moida)1 teaspoon of garlic powder1/2 teaspoon of paprika3/4 cup of red wine

Preparation
- In a bowl, add the pepper sauce, garlic powder, paprika, and wine and mix everything well.
- Add the potato sticks and using your hands incorporate everything well so all the sticks are all covered in the marinade.
- Cover the bowl with plastic film and refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Take the potato sticks from the bowl, drain any access marinade and fry it in hot oil.
- Once golden and crisp, remove from the oil and place them in paper towels to absorb the oil, and season with salt.
