Ingredients

4 whole eggs3 cups of all purpose flour1 cup of milk1/2 cup of oil1 teapsoon of baking powderA pinch of saltSmoked meat (to taste), cut into small pieces

Preparation

  1. With an electric mixer, beat the eggs, add the milk and oil and finally the flour, baking powder and salt, always beating.
  2. Add the meat and mix it well in the batter with the help of a wooden spoon. 
  3. Grease a 9 inch round cake pan with butter, dust it with flour and pour the batter into it.
  4. Bake in a oven at 180ºC or 350ºF for about 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
