1 onion1/2 cup of olive oil3 cloves of garlic450 grams of presoaked salt codSaltPepper1 3/4 cups of cream300 grams of potatoes150 grams of grated cheeseChopped parsley for garnish

Preparation
- Cook the cod and set aside.
- Slice the onion and sauté in olive oil with the minced garlic.
- Add the cooked and shredded cod.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the cream, adjust the seasoning and set aside.
- Peel, wash, and thinly slice the potatoes.
- In a baking dish, layer the potatoes and the cod mixture alternately.
- Sprinkle with cheese and bake at 150°C (300°F) for about 45 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
- Before serving, sprinkle with chopped parsley.
